Although we did not stay at The Regency Hotel this time, we decided to revisit it for dinner at the Krualuang Coffee Shop and Restaurant, a place where we were first introduced to iconic Thai food, as kids.
For something nostalgic, we ordered the Fresh Shrimps in Fish Sauce or in Thai, Goong Che Nam Pla. Think of it as prawn sashimi, Thai-styled.
We don’t recall them serving us huge prawns last time. From our faint memory, we remembered them to be extremely tiny.
Nevertheless, it still tasted as good as we can all remember. A new introduction to us, is Krualuang’s signature Deep Fried Noodles with Sea Bass Fish’s Head in Brown Sauce.
Can’t remember what it’s called in Thai, but its definitely a must try!!!
Coupled those yummy food with live music, our holiday just couldn’t get any better!!
