… we decided to give Lindt Chocolat Cafe a try.
Lindt is a world-class premium chocolate company that has a long and evolved history which began in Switzerland, in 1845. Now, they enjoy the reputation of being at the forefront of contemporary chocolate makers renown for their innovation, quality and Swiss chocolate-making tradition. While Lindt chocolates are manufactured and available world-wide, no other countries have yet received their own Lindt Chocolat Cafes.
With their recent opening in Darling Harbour, the Cockle Bay Wharf is now home to their second of only two Lindt’s Chocolat Cafes in the world. And guess where is the first branch? Switzerland?
The answer is no. Although its a Swiss company, their very first branch was also in Sydney (Martin Place). This just shows how much Lindt loves the city of Sydney… or rather how crazy Sydney-siders are with Lindt chocolates.
Since we just had breakfast and wanted to spare our tummy for lunch, we decided to give their waffle …
… and hot chocolate a try …
… and here was where we had the most fun, trying to decorate the hot chocolate with the chocolate provided!!!
Step 1: Pour some milk and chocolate.
Step 2: Try drawing something simple with the chocolate provided.
Step 3: Once you get the hang of how to use a jar to draw, continue with something harder, such as your names.
Step 4: Now that you are an expert, write down your message!!
All in all, I guess that was the funnest morning tea I ever had!!
